Sections supported by STEEL Autodrafter

Hello all,
I read in the latest release notes of STAAD.Pro that now "The Steel AutoDrafter workflow has been updated to support sections defined in User Provided Tables (UPT)".
And I want to check what kind of sections are supported by STEEL AUTODRAFTER ?

1) SEctions from a standard hot rolled steel databases can be drawn in Autodrafter.

2) any section defined from user table can now be drawn in Autodrafter Even if the user define a general section by its polygon. But do we still have to folllow the name convention as mentioned in the help file ?

3) tapered sections ( I or Tupe ) will be drawn using an average depth

4) Prismatic sections can be drawn in SteelAuto drafter

5) Sections defined in section wizard and imported to STAAD will not be defined in Steel AutoDrafter

Hope One can confirm if my understand for what sections are supported in Autodrafter is correct

Regards

    below is point wise response,

    1. Reply : Yes. except following,

    1. American
      1. Castellated
    2. American Steel Joists
      1. K series.
      2. KCS Series

    2. Reply : UPT defined as per standard procedure available in STAAD can be read in Steel AD. There is no need to follow name convention. but for sections like "Star Angle" you can still use older method of defining Name in STAAD.

3.Reply : Yes. Correct. tapered tubes are also shown as with average dimensions in Steel AD.

    4.  Reply :

Minimum dimensions required are, YD and ZD

    5. Reply: Yes, Sections defined in section wizard are not available to Steel AD.

Addition to this, if the section is defined with free sketch using .dxf file, Steel AD is able to read these section as per profile polygons.
