Reason for slow STAAD.Pro model analysis

Hello! 
 I would just like to ask 
 I am working on a big model like 25m by 180m and upon running the analysis, it stopped at RUN BY LOAD CASE or something. 
 So I took a part out and removed some plates and turned all braces into truss members. 
 It's now like 30% of the original model but when running the analysis (Until past the load combination), it took around 20 mins. 
 
 Is there a reason why it's taking this long? 
 I'm not sure if it's because of all the repeat loads but I saw other models with this format and it didn't take that long.

Please make sure that you are using the latest STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition (ver 22.05.00.131) which has the fastest analysis solver for all types of licenses ( Basic as well as Advanced). The fact that you have almost 600 load cases is causing the analysis time to be long. For me using the above version, the analysis completed in about 33mins which is not too bad ( see picture below). If you need a quicker analysis you may consider changing the REPEAT LOADs to LOAD COMBINATIONs. The analysis you are trying to do is linear and so I don&rsquo;t see an issue with using LOAD COMBINATIONs. That would significantly reduce the analysis time.
