Is there a way to name plates in STAAD then select by name?Similar question for any element? Or would you just need to create groups? Can you create a group for plates?I suppose for plates if you use parametric models then you can name them. What about just a "mesh"?
No, it is not possible to name them using alphabets or a string of characters for any entity - members, plates, solids. ....
Numbers are the only option, and then aggregate them using group names.
