Q1. When i modelled geometry and assign the property and than close the model after closing i again open the model than what i see it will break the property into multiple segment like i assign property one by one on each member don't know why this happen???
Kindly resolve the issue as i m working on update 5. 1538.model.STD
Open the start up page of STAAD.Pro and go to Configure -> File Format and uncheck all check boxes in the Input format settings.
Thankyou but problem is not resolved right now the issue it will break the one or two property in 3 to 5 segment.

Try this:
1) Select all members and go to Geometry -> Renumber Beams. Set 'Start numbering from' to 6000, add Member No. option to the right side and click OK. The members will be renumbered.2) Select all plates and go to Geometry -> Renumber Plates. 'Start numbering from' to 1, add Element No. option to the right side and click OK. The plates will be renumbered.3) Assign the plate thickness to the plates and beam properties to the members.
Now the property assignment should not be split into parts once your reopen the model.
