I was working in a large file when all of a sudden after running calculations and trying to open my connections there was a fatal error and closed the program, when I restarted it all my connections were lost, is there a way to recover them or do I need to re-do the work?
In STAAD.Pro? Or RAM Structural System, or Ram Connection Stand-alone? What version?
staad 22.04.00.40, and it is the connection design module inside staad.
All connection design data is stored in file types with extensions .cut, .rcc, and .rsd. If you can find files with these extensions in the folder where STAAD.Pro model was saved, copy those together with STAAD.Pro model (.std file) to a new and empty folder. Try to open and analyze the model and then open the Connection Design workflow.
By the way, STAAD.Pro CE version 22.05.00.131 is the latest one, so I would recommend you to upgrade to that version.
thank you for the tip, but .rcc and .rsd files are gone.
Latest version 22.05.00.131 has discrepancies with horizontal bracing results when used as MEMBER TRUSS or MEMBER RELEASE, I am going to wait for the next release to upgrade my system.
