RAM Connection - Base plate design

Does RAM always consider the Base plate to be subjected to moment (uniaxial or biaxial)? Is there no option to specify that the Base plate is subjected to only concentric compressive axial loads? The design thickness seems to consistently fail for a Column base plate with no moments, just the compressive load!

  • I am modelling a base plate with stiffeners It is subject to large moment and very little vertical load. I am not getting the results that I am expecting. I am getting following warning for the master node:

Zero stiffness in direction 1 at joint 35 (Joint 35 is master joint)

In addition I am not getting any stresses in elements next to the nodes presenting nodes. Could somebody advise what sort of mistake I might be making
