I don&#39;t think that AISC LRFD or BS 5950 codes can be used for the stainless steel design (though I am not 100% sure). For example, Eurocode EN 1993-1-1 describes the rules to design hot rolled steel sections, however, there is a separate code EN 1993-1-4 specific to the stainless steel design.</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
