Hello,
I created this model wit the STAAD Pro physical modeler, when I loaded it into the analytical modeler and attempted to run it I received the "Plate Error - BADLY SHAPED, WARPED, NOT CONVEX, OR NOT NUMBERED COUNTER-CLOCKWISE" error. I have reviewed the Plate Element Modelling Rules, however outside of the "Not numbered counter-clockwise" I cannot see what would be wrong. I have attached the input file:
Plate Model Test.STD
Thank you for your assistance,
There are some plates like 73, 93, 95 etc ( highlighted below) that have a very high aspect ratio.
You may want to check the way the lower edge of the structure has been modeled in the Physical Modeler. Also try running the Model < Integrity Check from within the physical modeler before you generate the analysis model. If you are still not able to find the issue, please upload the .stdp file and we will look into it.
Hello Sye,
The lower part of the model is a 1 foot strip with different loading conditions, is there a way the number of panels in that region can be modified as they are very "slender" as is? I ran the model integrity check and the only error I found were orphaned nodes, which I am using to apply point loads to the panels. I have attached the .stdp file.

Thank you for all your help,
