I have a staad file with a physical model created using STAAD v22.04.00.40. However, when I opened it using v22.05.00.131, I get above warning & the *.stdp file fails to open.
I tried recreating the same structure using v22.05.00.131 but the same warning appears & still there is no access to the physical model.
Is there any workaround?
Do you have .std and .stdp files located in the same folder? .stdp file is a file where all SPPM data is stored, so it must be saved in the same folder where .std file is located. If both files are saved in the same folder and you still get the same error, please attach both files (.std and .stdp) here for the investigation.
For both cases, yes the std & stdp files were in the same folder. It was never our practice to separate the files generated by staad. STR02_Update5.STDSTR02_Update5.STDP
This is a trial structure file, some properties & load cases were not yet inputted as I was trying to cycle between the two workflows.
I was able to open this model fine in STAAD.Pro CE version 22.05.00.131. Try to copy the .std and .stdp files to a completely new folder in your local disk and see if the SPPM can be opened fine now?

I understand now, my initial files were on OneDrive, thus saving it on my local disk solved the issue. Thank you for your assistance!
