How do i turn off the side face rebar in beam design in RCDC

Side face reinforcement is calculated for 2 reasons.

1. Depth of beam is greater than 750mm (Code specific, 750mm for IS code)

2. There is torsion in the beam.

These are calculated internally and represented in drawing and calculations. The depth criteria you need to control. There is option to ignore torsion but it is not recommended as it will affect the moment and shear design too. But if the torsion value is very less, then you can set a threshold limit beyond which torsion will be taken care of in the design.
