Hi,
I am trying to design a concrete pedestal below a moment frame steel column. I did model the correct concrete section and dimensions, but the concrete column design module does not seem to import the loads. Seems like it does not fill up the load cases even after entering the DL, LL, W, and EQ loads manually. Please note that I have all the load cases generated. Any solution to this issue?
Thanks and Regards,
Faaz
The concrete column module imports load combination results and not individual load cases. Make sure that you have load combinations generated in the main model and make sure that the combination type is defined as "Design", "RC-Design", or "Not Assigned." More on load combination types can be found on the web page below:

If you have load combinations defined and still do not see the forces, then please share your model for review.

Uploaded my model here. Please check member 87 (Description - Column 2). I tried adding extra load cases to include RC design (DC series) and it still doesn't import any loads other than the self-weight of the column.
Thanks,
There are nodal restraints modeled at the top of the concrete column. The steel column loads exit the model through that support and do not get transfer to the concrete column. Clear the restraint at the top of the concrete column to resolve the problem.
