Hi! I am having some issues to design this kind of connection. I found that there is available a connection type that alouds me to project a moment connection only with flange plates (just for Fx and Mz). And there is also another type for shear splices just with web plates (only for Fy).
But i coludn´t find a connection to solve a splice that must resist Fx, shear in y and z, and moment in y and z. I think that i saw an article in this web that shows that this connection i need exists but i wasn´t able to find it.
Does anyone know if this connection was added in the latest updates? I am using Staad.pro Connect edition UPDATE 3 (21.03.00).
i also tried to solve two different connections (with the 2 i mentioned before) so then i could combine the 2 in one, but i think that is not correct, because i would be ignoreing shear in one direction.
