In the earlier version of connect edition, American cold formed sections (Chanel with Lips) were designed as per AISI code.
Now in the above connect edition, the same file is showing error during analysis & design. The error is DESIGN FOR SECTION SHAPE IS NOT SUPPORTED. Properties and design parameters are attached.
Request to resolve it.
The design of cold formed C shapes, Z shapes, and angle profiles with Lips as per AISI 2016 will be included in the CE Version 22 Update 6 release (version 22.06.00.137) which will be available for download either later this week or next week.
