PLATE STRESS AND CUTTING LINE DIAGRAM IN MIDAS GEN

Dear Bentley members, 
 I have tried Plate model in Midas Gen and staad pro, In Midas there was one option called Cutting line diagram for understanding the Plate bending diagram, Similarly is there any tool in Staad pro?. Or any method for understanding plate model in staad 
 .

Yes. In the postprocessing workflow go to Results-> Layouts -> Results Along Line.

This tool is in the normal STAAD.Pro.

Here is where you can find the option in STAAD.Pro v8i. However please note that Results Along Line has been completely rewritten in STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition and this new algorithm overcomes the limitations that existed in the older algorithm. We highly recommend that you start using the STAAD.Pro CE and use the new Results Along Line feature. Also STAAD.Pro v8i is not supported anymore and so you should migrate to the STAAD.Pro CE anyway.
