Hello,
I was carrying out an analysis for a frame and was informed of instability at a joint. Although i have two pinned joints in 3D model space , i have included releases to take care of out of plane moments and torsion on the top beam. However, the structure seems to be unresponsive and still shows up warnings of instability. Kindly help.

Please note that when i change one or both footings to fixed connections, the warning is gone.

Hello, i applied releases in the MX and MY directions and still had the instability warning.
The model has out of plane loading so pinned supports would be unable to handle the rotation. Thus instability warnings are reported
The structure is designed as a space structure not a planar structure. So shouldn't the joints behave as pinned in all axes?.
