Hi Melody,

You cant see the load diagram (triangular/trapezoidal) coz the setting for load scale is small (3000:1), set the scale to 10:1, see below.

From the snap it seems an additional member load has been provided on the beam as UDL. Probably, this is the load due to brick wall.

Yes i was able to see the trianglular/trapezoidal on a rectangular type of panel. I am actually referring to the ones erected on the each side. I will attach a photo here from the internet to show. I encircled it with a white pen. I am not sure what it is called but that is what my professor's sample look like and I thought I need to follow it... i am not sure though.

I guess, the panel you highlighted is a perfect square. if you pick a panel of rectangular type you will be able to see triangular and trapezoidal distribution.

Yes, 5.25 to 5.26 is working

The exact coordinate of the floor where you are trying to generate the load is 5.25001. So, I have used a range 5.25 to 5.26 and it works.
