I have model my steel roof truss which has two RCC column having 10m supporting the roof. I have run analysis but when it comes to design those rcc column in RCDC it gives this statement as shown in attachment below

Hi,
We have checked your model and observed that Pinned support is assigned to steel members of the truss.
As per RCDC Logic, all the members to which support is assigned is assumed to be at foundation level. Hence RCDC has detected Steel and RCC column both at same level.
As a workaround ,we would suggest you to model RC column at all support location same like you have added at two location. if pin support is assigned to support, you can release the moments of RC columns. RCDC shows a warning message if RC and Steel columns present at support level. This is valid when RC and steel columns present at bottom most level.
if your case, the supports are assigned at different level. fixed support added to RC column at bottom most level and pinned support assigned to steel column at upper level.
Generally, RC columns and steel column are not expected at bottom most level of structure. In steel structures, RC columns goes inside the ground and at ground level Steel column starts to avoid direct contact of steel column to soil.
Thanks
I will try to put rc columns on supports and give feedback
I have model RC Column but still i get the same message, what should i do?
see my attachment below30415.Structure1.STD
?
I had found a support at a mid level which seemed to be assigned by mistake. Kindly check if it is assigned for a purpose or by mistake. Below is the node number and snip for reference:
30415.Structure1 - modified.STD
I am attaching revised model which is getting read in RCDC after removing the support assigned to node - 1855.
