why this error happened?
Editor file become inactive, Even though if i close the file and reopen then also this problem persist. Due to this so much time we lost.

I would recommend you to upgrade to the most recent STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition version 22.06.00.138. STAAD.Pro V8i is very old and not supported anymore.
yes, for some project we are already using CONNECT Edition.
But for many projects this version still in-use as per project specs.
For that what we can do ?
Check the Task Manager and see if there are no STAAD processes running. If there is, terminate it and try to run the model again.
