in the above four images, 2 images show the two different types of arrangement of the beam and the rest two show the bending moment diagram for both arrangements.
My question is as we know the positive moment indicates the support moment and the negative moment is the span moment. My question is why I m getting different values in both the cases like the first case span moment is more and in 2nd case, support moment is more.
1. As the beam in contact with a liquid face that means tension in the top face is more as compared to the bottom face.
