Hi,
In the in-built RAM Connection tab of STAAD Pro V8i SS6 version, Pry out check for Group of Anchors in Shear considers negative values for e'N (-7.38 & -0.942) as shown in snap-1. Whereas when the same check is performed in RAM Connection Connect Edition V13 update3, the values are positive (snap-2 below). Please let me know which is correct? This difference has a big impact on interaction of Shear & Tension check.
Can you send me your files so that I can check. If sending a Staad file, include the full set of files zipped. For Ram Connection Stand-Alone only the .rcnx is needed. If you want to keep it private see
Hi, Please find attached Zip file of SS6 check and RAM connection check.
SS6.zipPryout Check.zip
I ran your STAAD.Pro model in the most recent STAAD.Pro CE version 22.06.00.138 and noticed that these values are positive and same as in the RAM Connection. I would recommend you to upgrade to that STAAD.Pro CE version as STAAD.Pro V8i is not supported anymore. Also note that RAM Connection V13 Update 5 is the latest one.
