I have a structure I designed before now, my boss comes yesterday and says he wants us to increase the plan dimension of the structure by a certain scale factor, can i resize the structure in STAADPRO and proceed to design or i have to re-model afresh ??
You may use a Structure Wizard for this task. The Lengths were converted from metric to imperial unit, will this not change my structural dimensions, for e.g 4m becomes 3.9979m
This variation is due to conversion of unit. Seeing the % of variation, you may ignore the same.
In the Structure Wizard go to File -> Select Units to select the metric units to avoid the unit conversion.
