In the Structure Wizard go to File -> Select Units to select the metric units to avoid the unit conversion.

This variation is due to conversion of unit. Seeing the % of variation, you may ignore the same.

The Lengths were converted from metric to imperial unit, will this not change my structural dimensions, for e.g 4m becomes 3.9979m

You may use a Structure Wizard for this task.
