I am modelling a building that has a steel roof truss on the roof slab. Now while assigning dead and live load (Floor Load) on that particular floor, I am unable to see a proper distribution of forces that have occurred through the other floors. I am uploading the staad file to the secure server for help. Please let me know what is the issue.

There are some improperly intersected beams. You can identify those beams by going to Geometry -> Intersecting Beams -> Highlight Intersecting Beams. To intersect those beams properly, select all members in the floor and go to Geometry -> Intersecting Beams -> Intersect Selected Beams.
I have then used such ranges to apply the floor load at level Y = 11.45 m:
YRANGE 11.4 11.5 FLOAD -2 XRANGE 3 21 ZRANGE -12 1 GYYRANGE 11.4 11.5 FLOAD -2 XRANGE 20.5 33.5 ZRANGE -15 3 GY

No, I am not applying the floor load on the sloped part of the roof. I am applying it to the normal slab part. the roof is made up of steel and the part where I am applying the load is of concrete. It is rectangular in shape. There are different trusses that are resting on the rectangular slab part. I am applying the floor load on the rectangular slab part but the trapezoidal load distribution is not happening there. I am attaching a picture for your reference.
Are you trying to apply te floor load on the sloped parts of the roof? In that case instead of using ranges to define a polygon where floor load needs to be applied, create a Group of members with the Type set to Floor and apply the floor load to that Group. Each slope should have a separate group.
