How to report the plate corner stresses in the output file.
PRINT ELEMENT STRESSES prints the center stresses. How can I print the corner stresses ?
Please use PRINT ELEMENT JOINT STRESSES

Thank you, Can I print the stresses for specific joints ?
There is no direct way to indicate a specific joint for a plate but here is what you can do. You can specify the X and Y distance from the local origin of the plate to that particular node as shown next
PRINT ELEMENT JOINT STRESSES AT 2.5 2.5 LIST 100
Let’s say there is a plate #100 in your model which has dimensions of 5 units x 5 units. The origin of the plate would be at the centroid of the plate ( local coordinates 0, 0). So to get the stress at one of the corner nodes you may use local X and Y distances of that node measured with respect to the origin of the plate ( specified as numbers 2.5 2.5 in the above command)
Thanks, that make a lot of sense. but it would be much easier if I can call joint stresses or use relative distance like PRINT ELEMENT JOINT STRESSES AT 0.5 0.5 LIST 100 to print the corner stress. since I Have multi dimensions in my problem and want to automate it.
There is no way to do that as of now but I see your point. I will need to get an enhancement logged for this.
Thanks for your helpful responses.
