Hi Guys,My building period is greater than the Ts value and per ASCE7-16, 11.4.8 the code based response spectra has to be adjusted (penalized). RAM does not adjust the spectra? is there a way we can incorporate it. I am running preliminary analysis before we receive the Site Specific Parameters
I think you would have to use the generic response spectrum analysis type of loading with a user defined response spectrum table (.rsp file) in order to analyze such a case.
