I would like to design a cross bracing for a steel roof truss in Staad Pro C.E, which kind of connection between the following is suitable for cross bracing?
1. Cable bracing as shown which can be adjusted
2.Steel structural elements which will be connected by a plate where they meet
Design of the second one is possible in RAM connection which is integrated with STAAD.Pro. There is no direct way to design the first one.
Is it possible to design the second connection for horizontal bracing or its for vertical bracing only?
