Cannot Assign a VXB Connection to RAM Connection

Hello, 
 
 I am designing a building in RAM SS and have imported the model into RAM Connections. I have an X Braced Frame and would like to assign a VXB type connection but there is not a node there. Is there a way to add a node or would I have to design the connection from scratch using the standalone RAM Connection?

There is no easy way to add this joint in the RAM SS -> Ram Connection workflow. No joint was assumed in the Ram Frame analysis either. It is possible to force a joint when using Ram Elements and Connection, but rerunning the lateral model in Ram Elements would be more effort than putting the braces into Ram Connection Stand-Alone.
