I am comparing the STAAD beam design results(Laterally unsupported) and manually calculated results. There is a variation in the values for Sec. 9.3.1.1, Sec. 9.3.2.2 (i) & Sec. 9.3.2.2(ii) .
Would it be possible to share a example file to see what values STAAD is considering in its equations.(For rolled and welded sections)
I have shared STAAD report Track-2 and excel cals. for your reference.

Hello,
We have kept few verification examples in the below path. You may refer them for some clarifications.

With a quick view to your calculation it seems you have not taken clause 8.2.2 in your consideration. There are certain cases where you need to consider these criteria in calculation for major and minor axis bending.
Here, I think a) and c) will be applicable for your case and for both the cases you need to consider laterally supported condition. Please check and let me know if this helps.
Can you please elaborate how a) & b) is applicable?
If the above case is considered, Major and minor axis moment capacity formula is the same??
Correct me if i am wrong.
As per 8.2.2 A) for minor axis bending you should consider the beam as laterally supported. But from your calculation it seems you have considered it as laterally unsupported. Please check.
As per 8.2.2 C) if lamdaLT is less than 0.4, you should consider the beam as laterally supported. From your calculation, I can see the value of lamdaLT as 0.28. So as per code you should consider laterally supported condistion. But it seems you have considered it as laterally unsupported. Please check.
Reply are as follows,
8.2.2.A) No. Minor axis moment capacity is calculated based on 8.2.1.2 equation(Laterally supported). Please find attached complete beam calculation.
8.2.2 C) No LambdaLT is 1.15 in Cl 7.3 of the calculation & 1.24 Cl 9.2.1.2 of the calculationPDF
I got your point. As full calculation was not present in first attachment, I got confused.
Anyway, have you got a chance to look through the verification document available in above link? Does that help?
If not please let me know. I will provide you details.
