In the below SKID i need to show that the base frame is mounted directly on the ground. All the ground beams will be layed on the floor and on the 4 cornens i will use 4 fix points How this can be applied on physical
modeler?

So in your case, select the support of member 2 in the spreadsheet (you may need to change FY from released to spring and provide some spring stiffness). These values will be assigned to all the nodes of this member generated during the analytical model conversion and this will be visible in the Analytical Modeling workflow.

Some supports disappear from the spreadsheet, because they represent analytical nodes and once you switch off Analytical button, analytical nodes are not shown anymore.

RE: How can i show that my skid base frame established directly on the ground in physical modeler workflow?

communities.bentley.com/.../17642_2D00_-GPSA-PHASE-3-EXPANSION-_2800_with-loads-and-load-combinations-for-design_2900_-angles-erased2-with-new-way-of-support.stdp.bakcommunities.bentley.com/.../17642_2D00_-GPSA-PHASE-3-EXPANSION-_2800_with-loads-and-load-combinations-for-design_2900_-angles-erased2-with-new-way-of-support.STD

RE: How can i show that my skid base frame established directly on the ground in physical modeler workflow?

Please attach that model (.std and .stdp files).

RE: How can i show that my skid base frame established directly on the ground in physical modeler workflow?

Maybe i didnt explain it correct.

I know that when analysis button is on, i can not do anything in order to modify the model or the spreadsheet.

The problem is when i switch off the button , the relevant values from springs' nodes are dissapeared. Both from model and srpeadsheet. See the 2nd snapshot for your reference.

RE: How can i show that my skid base frame established directly on the ground in physical modeler workflow?

You need to select the springs in the spreadsheet and it should be highlighted on the model.

To edit the model, you need to switch off the Analysis button.

RE: How can i show that my skid base frame established directly on the ground in physical modeler workflow?

Dear Modestas,

Good morning.

I have incorporate spring supports on the side that is on touch directly on the ground . Although the springs are shown when the analysis model is ON in the Ribbon and shown also on the spreadsheet (springs are enclosed in blue on the model) , when i am switching OFF the analytical button, these are dissapeared both from the model and the spreadsheet as well. These two conditions are shown on the first and second screenshot.

Also i want to check the axial behavior of these springs and change them to compression only, but the spreadsheet is frozen due to the switched on Analysis model button on the ribon.

Is any sollution on this?

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Just you may want to use more segments on the longer beams. You may also want to use compression only springs if those beams are not fixed on the ground along its length.

RE: How can i show that my skid base frame established directly on the ground in physical modeler workflow?

So this is the applicable way to show and demonstrate the floor establisment in physical and analytical modeler as well?
