I am designing a column base plate/anchor connection in RAM Connection. It seems the design checks are being done for both the basic load cases and load combinations (See attachment: STR1 through STR4 are the only load combinations, all others are load cases). The base plate is failing in flexural yielding under WL1, which is wind loading. WL1 produces uplift so it makes sense that the plate is failing but it should be fine under load combinations when downward reactions are included.
How do I exclude load cases and perform design checks for only the load combinations?
Click where you select the design code. You can check combinations only there. Otherwise let me know which interface this is (stand alone?)
