Does RAM use the pile cap self weight to reduce tension forces in piles?

Question

In the foundation module, does RAM use the pile cap self weight to reduce tension forces in piles? I do not see a check box for it the way there is one to include self weight for spread footings.

The pile cap self-weight is always included in the pile capacity checks. It is always excluded in the concrete capacity checks. See excerpt below from Section 4.16.4 in the RAM Foundation Manual for additional details:
