Could you please take a look at the model and tell me what is the problem. thanks:en-USTelligent Community 12https://communities.bentley.com/thread/684442?ContentTypeID=1Sat, 27 Nov 2021 13:29:59 GMT6dad98f5-dbc9-4c4d-a9ba-e9da8dc6aa8e:62fd8117-f038-459f-aa38-f64dea8b374aKris Sathia<p>Pure lateral cases cannot be run with a compression only attribute because there is no way to generate any restoring moment from a pure compression support arrangement.</p> <p>So, here are the changes needed.</p> <p>1) Remove the compression attribute from the current instance of the soil support.</p> <p>2) Convert load cases 3, 4, 5 and 6 to the Reference Load type.</p> <p>3) After load case 2, specify the soil support command again, this time include the Compression attribute</p> <p>4) Convert load cases 7 and 8 to the REFERENCE LOAD type.</p> <p>Attached is the modified file. Ignore the results of load cases 1 and 2.
