I am running a floor plate, and one of my columns will not run a column punching check. Normally, if the design check isnt centered on the column, it would say that as an error. However, this comes out as a warning, "No punch cutoff sections found". I have adjusted the search radius and desired sections per zone, but still no luck. Does anyone have any tips on how to get it to properly check?
Common causes for "No Calc" on a punching shear check in Ram Concept are:
1. The column moved since the punching shear check was created. It can be moved or replaced with a new punching check in that case
2. A punching shear radius that is too small to encompass the d/2 perimeter around the column. Make the search radius larger in this case.
Thanks for the response Seth. I have tried both of your suggestions, yet it still wont perform a calculation on the column. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Try the ignore edges for this inside corner condition.
I changed some other options first, but that's the one that makes a difference. The resulting failure plane still has a small gap as I would expect.

Thanks Seth!
I also found that an 80deg angle and "Failure Planes" will work. The acute angle of the corner and the slight offset of the slab edge from the column face caused the difficulty.
