It appears that RAM Connection (v13 update 4) does not check the plate buckling limit state (analogous to the coped beam web buckling check) for extended shear tab beam to column web shear connections per the provisions of chapter 9 of the AISC steel manual (14th edition) (similar to example II.A-19 of the design examples). It appears to check only the yielding of the plate per the snip of the detailed calculation below. Please find attached the RAM Connection file and snips of the limit states checked. Please review and let me know in case I'm missing something, or is it something that needs to be incorporated?

I checked the latest version (13.06.00.213) with AISC 360-10 or 360-16 LRFD for an extended type single plate (SP) connection and there are two checks related to buckling in the output. Please update your version if possible.
