ASCE 7 Generated Wind Loads in STAAD

I am trying to check some STAAD models containing ASCE 7 generated wind loads.  The details of these wind loadings are proving difficult to verify.  If I use STAAD to open the .STD files I was sent, and go into the ASCE 7 wind load dialog box, it appears to contain default values, not the job-specific values that the engineer input.  If I instead review the STAAD input file, I see the do-not-modify wind definition section, but can't interpret all of the parameters that it contains.  So my questions are:

1. Why doesn't STAAD read the wind definition parameters from .STD files and display them when I review the definition in the GUI?  (Specific example: the model has a basic wind speed of 105 mph. I can see that number in the 1st parameter of the do-not-modify definition in the Input File.  But the GUI dialog box always shows 110 mph.)  
2. Is there a parameter key that I can use to interpret the values contained in the input file definition?  Some of them are obvious, like the basic wind speed.  But most other parameters are not.
