I've went through the suggested fixes for this error but that didn't help. It seems to me there was an issue with the custom load combinations (that's the only thing I missed updating when I added the new load cases). I've also split WDG2 as you suggested. Thanks Seth!

RE: error designing one or more section cuts

It also works for me in version 17.02.01.23. In that test I analyzed just the two gravity cases and 2 of the seismic cases (consistent with the way you had it). Then in concrete shear wall I generated valid load combinations and checked a few walls.

It's worth noting that you don't have to use custom combinations if the load factors are all the same as you get with generated load combinations.

I would also recommend splitting WDG#2 into two separate design groups since the two walls do not touch.

RE: error designing one or more section cuts

It's working fine for me in verison 17.03.00.282 (a pre-release test build). I tested a few walls (most with hinge sections) and with all lateral load cases analyzed.

That would indicate some sort of issue that we already fixed. I'll try to reproduce the issue in the release build.

RE: error designing one or more section cuts

Version 17.02.01.23

RE: error designing one or more section cuts

The forces are the same forces from the ASCE analysis so I'm thinking that's not the case.
