I'm designing a post connection to a concrete wall, which is not cast against soil. The design is failing because of minimum concrete cover requirement for "cast against earth" applications. I can't seem to find where to change that setting to indicate otherwise. Could you point me in the right direction?
For base plates, if the anchors go directly into the foundation, then we assume this to be true and require 3" cover. If there is pedestal, then it's false and less cover is needed.
