Dear Team Bentley,
I have a curious question to ask regarding Member Size in Properties for Tapered Sections. My queries as below:
1. Why STAAD show Tapered Section with 1,2,3 etc. instead of Member Sizes like (d1-d2)xtw+2*(b1-b2)xtf1/tf2 like this. Is not possible to provide such a sizing for easy identification of a member element?
Every time to check member size we need to double click the size or property then verify the size. It's a headache for a user with 100s of section sizes.
2. In Steel Auto drafter, is it not possible to create members with Tapered Sections to scale instead of single line diagrams and same time Tapered Member Section size as in query 1?
I appreciate your early response and a solution to include these in the Software. This will reduce significant efforts of an end user in terms of ease and working.
