Uninstall & reinstall STAAD.Pro, while installing, right-click on the file and select the option “Run as administrator” (though you may be logged in as the administrator).

If it doesn't help, we will need to see some details, like event viewer logs. Please create a Service Request.

Please restart your machine. Then right-click on STAAD.Pro icon/short-cut and check if you are able to create a new project.

If the issue persists, follow the steps as stated below.

1.Close all STAAD applications.
2. Open Windows Explorer and go to the following location
C:\Users\<User.Name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering where <user.name> will be your name or the user who is using STAAD.
3. There will be a folder named “STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition”; delete it.
4. Right click on STAAD icon now and select the option Run as administrator.
