While designing Moment Connection with Haunch in RAM Connection, I find the shear demand for column web panel check does not change based on haunch depth. However the demand changes when the beam section size is changed. Can you please explain why is the haunch depth not considered in lever arm for calculating the shear demand?
Can you send your file, or confirm your version, code and connection type? When I tested this using v13.07, AISC 360-16 LRFD and DG 16 MEP the panel shear demand was affected by haunch depth:

Please find attached file. I tried in Connection Design tab of STAAD Pro Connect Edition Update8 with Eurocode. Can you please confirm if the haunch depth is considered for this file?
