I have STAAD.Pro version 20.07.11.90 and I get the following error when opening STAAD:
I get this error from either opening STAAD independently and looking for the file through STAAD or from double clicking the file from my machine.
My work IT was not able to fix this old version and instead successfully installed the latest version (22.08.00.175). Any chance to get the old version of STAAD to work as well? I'd like to use both.

Reinstallation of the program my help . However, STAAD.Pro V8i is not supported anymore and I would recommend in using STAAD.Pro CE.

For the old program, they tried reinstalling and it still does not work. I know I did a Windows OS major update last week and soon after that it stopped working. It was working fine before the Windows update.
CE stands for CONNECT Edition. So yes, your STAAD.Pro is CE.
