What is the exact issue which you are facing while creating a General section? If the issue is that the profile points are not exported, then this is expected as profiles points of closed sections cannot be exported into STAAD.Pro currently. However, you still should be able to create a General section with its properties (just without the profile points) and design it in STAAD.Pro.

I'm still facing problem in creating general section for the specified Section.

Hello,

You may try with General section option. Even if it fails to generate profile points, that is not going to afect your design process. Euro code can design general sections. For more details please refer help file.

If you still face problem, share the STAAD file with .upt files for investigation.
