In a model , nodes and members are lied on a surface that is not parallel to the main axis , how can I select them or view them only ?
Hello Arash,
There is no direct way to view members lying in a different plane other than the global one. I can suggest 2 workarounds here.
1. You can select the members/plates parallel to the global axis (X, Y, Z) easily using the option shown below. Then using inverse option you can select the other members and plates which are not parallel to global axis.
2. If your modelling is complete, then you can manually select the members/plates once and then create a saved view with them. Next time onwards you can easily select the saved view and see the members. To know more about this process refer help file below location.
