Can you please explain that when I move grid by 1' then all framing is getting twisted. How to move grids without affecting the framing?

Ancient polygon routines in the program that break down with small tolerances. The steps were to:

1. Add grid intersections at wall ends.

2. Move grid over (1' for example). Confirm all walls move with grids.

3. Move it back.

Thank you Seth for your efforts. Can you just elaborate that why this error is there?? It would highly appreciable if you can write the steps to remove this error?

Though everything appeared to be aligned, I was able to resolve it by adding grids, aligning to the wall ends to grids and then adjusting the grid over 1' and finally back. Regretfully this resets the WDG and section cut assignments. I'll send you the file I have edited, though it needs to be rerun for the right lateral loads and as well as resetting the WDG and section cuts for a few walls.

I have already tried that and its not working. I have deleted those walls and added as solid walls so it worked. But it is not working with openings.

Probably the walls on the two stories are not perfectly aligned, or are both very slightly off the 90 degree plan axis. Try using the align walls command to force the walls into alignment better yet align them to a grid line, and recheck.

If I do not assign hinge to this section cut. It does not give the error.
