The beam is failing even if i increase the depth of the beam in Mat foundation, i need your help what is the way forward, the results displayed is
"Beam is failing in shear please increase maximum secondary reinforcement"
iam using Staad Advanced Foundation V9 Update 6.1
Have you tried increasing the secondary reinforcement sizes as suggested by the program? Try a maximum stirrup size of 22 and see if that helps.
Which is the version of SFA you are using? With SFA 126.96.36.199, I am able to get beam forces for all the loadcases included in the job. Please find the attached screenshot for details.
These are the bar sizes or bar numbers as per ASTM standards. In this case, #10 corresponds to a bar diameter of 9.5mm and #13 corresponds to a bar diameter of 12.7mm. Refer to the ASTM bar charts for details.
Iam using SFA for Staad Pro Update 8,the beam force which is reported at the bottom part of the software

Thank you for clarification i usually use BS code, but when it comes to design of footing with beam i decided to use american code as SFA is supporting design of the beam by using American code.I tried to google but what iam getting is the other presentation from what software considers.
May you please help me with that chart
And also the beams are still failing even if i increase the size of reinforcement or the depth and width
