I am wondering as to why STAAD Foundation does not cut the longitudinal reinforcements when designing a combined footing? In contrast, some references cut the longitudinal reinforcements (check attached photo for visual comparison).
May I follow this up. Can anyone provide an explanation for this?
It is being calculated but it is not reported. Will include it to our backlogs for future enhancement.
