I'm using Physical modeler for modelling , applying loads and analysis part of the steel structure design work follow. The design parameters are defined in the Analytical part.
Is there any possibility to use physical beam members for the effective buckling length and checking the deflection criteria.
I mean , a physical member generated in the physical modeler will be divided into some more beam members in the analytical part depending on the intersections. However the total length should be accounted for the buckling or deflection, how could I use the benefit of physical members already defined?
