Dear Colleagues,
Presently we use STAAD.Pro for Analysis of Structure, STAAD.Foundation for design of Isolated / Combined footings, Batch mode for Column & Beam member design; and resort to customized excels for other components.
However if we are to automate/design within the STAAD environment (avoiding excel files) which of the STAAD packages can be applied, for which components of a underground storage pit (sample file attached).
Please advise.BOP_R0.STD
It is very difficult to tell a single software for this solution but RCDC along with RCDC FE will be able to handle all the elements.
If it is a tank type of structure then SPPM + RCDC tank module is a good solution. You may refer the videos in the below link.

i understand that RCDC designs columns & shear walls, (i haven't tried but) will that design out-of-plane / retaining walls?
For retaining wall RAM elements is teh best option. It has some other standalone option like tilt up wall, masonry wall etc.
