Is there any way to design the above connection (bolted beam on beam ) using RAM connection integrated solution? or standalone if it's not possible?
Can you please provide a clear snap for understanding the arrangement? Which code you are using?
Using AISC LRFD 2016
Angles can not be used as beam and column in RAM connection. So, there is no good solution for this.
What if they were I-Beams ? Beam to Beam with bolting top flange to another flange.
This kind of arrangement is possible through horizontal bracing option. Directly bolted 2 flanges is not available.
