Why is it that the stability check of footings in SFA is only performed for service load combinations?
As per different code recommendations, stability check is done for serviceability load case. Can you please let us know for which load case you want to do the stability check? Is there any reference for the same?
Can you please give me the specific clause in ACI318-14 which mentions that stability check is done for serviceability load cases only?
I am not very sure if this is explicitely written in ACI 318 code. But it is written in ACI336.2R-88.
